Stacious and Bridgez anxious to put fight behind them

The ongoing battle between Alliance-affiliated deejays, Stacy "Stacious" Scarlett and Bridgett "Bridgez" Roache seems to have cooled off, but not before getting in a few parting shots.
Last week Friday, reports surfaced that Stacious and Bridgez fought outside the HYPE TV studios in Kingston following the premiere of their Bedroom Riddim Medley video. Reportedly, the fight succeeded an argument following a photo-op when the two brushed each other inside the studio. After a short lull, the altercation spilled into the parking lot where punches were reportedly thrown before they were broken up.

Last night, Stacious took to TVJ's Entertainment Report to put the ongoing tension to rest by explaining what took place during the fight. According to the Gully Squad first lady, she refused to allow Bridgez to disrespect her; implying that she instigated the physical altercation. Additionally, Stacious suggested that Bridgez was the one who decided to publicize what happened initially, via social media; claiming she lied about what happened during the incident.
"You know what it is, it's not a typical thing, you try to avoid people as best as you can….She's the one who went to Twitter and talked all of this rubbish. I'm bigger and I'm better than that," Stacious said.

Despite the bad blood, Stacious expressed her determination to put the incident behind her whilst stating that this altercation gave female deejays and Dancehall a bad name; also rubbishing the ideology that it helps to amplify the ongoing tension between the Gully and Alliance camps.
Meanwhile, Bridgez took to Twitter during the ER interview to issue a response to Stacious' claims. According to the Alliance Next Generation first lady, Stacious was the one telling lies about the incident whilst accusing her of making a public circus out of the altercation.

"So just heard dat D empty barrel went on the news wid the same lies of me instigating a fight, u can lie 2D media huni but u can't lie 2 God," Bridgez tweeted.
Furthermore, Bridgez tweeted that she ignored several media calls about the incident because she refused to highlight negativity.
Stacious and Bridgez had an earlier, verbal altercation whilst on the Bedroom Riddim Medley video shoot in September.
